“Ollie!  Wake up, boy!”  Sir Pete shakes him.  “Come on, Ollie, wake up!”

Ollie is thrashing around on the bed, sometimes yelling; “No! Stop!   Don’t!  It hurts!”, sometimes laughing hysterically.  He calms down, and goes into a deep sleep.

“He’s been like this for three days now, Seth.  I wonder what’s going on?  He seems to surface, and is close to waking, then goes deeper into sleep.  Dr. Anderson examined him, and assured me it was nothing physical.  He suggested that I put a diaper on him to contain any messes.  I got some adult diapers and rubber pants.  I removed his nub cage, and completely shaved him to make cleanup easier.  I also have a call in to

Mr. Lawson, but I haven’t heard back, yet.”

“I don’t know, Pete.  Gus is frantic!  Maybe...maybe he’ll be able to get through to Ollie.”

“It’s worth a shot, Seth.”

They call Gus into the room.

“Gus!”, said Seth.  “Pay attention, boy.  Sir Pete and I are going to leave you alone with Ollie.  When he seems close to waking, talk to him.  Maybe you can get him to awaken fully.”

“Okay, Sir.  Isn’t there anything you can do, Sir?”

“No, boy.  If sir Pete or I knew what to do, we would have done it.”

*********

I’m running.  Someone is chasing me, but I don’t know who.  When I look behind me, there’s no one there, at least that I can see.  But I have a feeling that I’m still being chased.

I come to a stream, so I run along it, looking for a place to cross.  I see some rocks that span the stream, so I cross over, going from rock to rock.  Half ways across I slip, and fall into the stream.  Now my clothes are wet, but I continue crossing.  When I get to the other side, I run into the forest.  Wait!  The forest?  There isn’t a forest where I live!  Woods, yea, but not a forest.   No time to stop and figure this out, so I keep running, going deeper into the forest.

I run until I can’t run anymore.  I look around; there’s nothing but trees.  Since I was dodging left and right to avoid running into the trees, I had no idea on how to get out.  I removed my wet clothing, and hung them on a tree branch, and crawled beneath a tree and leaned on the trunk.  I must have fallen asleep after catching my breath and calming down, because it was later in the day, and I was feeling chilly.

I check my clothes, but they were still damp.  I was feeling colder, but I had no means of starting a fire.  I had read that there are ways, but darn  if I knew.  Not knowing what else to do, I crawled back under the tree.  I wrapped my arms about myself to try and warm up, and fell asleep, again.

I woke again to the patter of feet, and I heard snuffling sounds.  I figured it was a forest critter, but which one?  I was soon to find out!

The snuffling got closer, then a head appeared.  It was a wolf, and it was beautiful!  It was white, gray, brown and black.  Strangely, I wasn’t afraid.  It came closer and sniffed me from head to toe.  It sat next to me and asked:

“Are you lost, human?”

I was shocked!  A wolf spoke to me!  I was speechless for a moment.

“You can talk!”

“Of course I can talk!”  it said.

“But...but... I can understand you!  Can you understand me?”

“Of course I can understand you!  We’re talking, aren’t we?  Are all humans as dense as you, or are you a special case?  Hey, doesn’t your species usually wear a covering?  Where is yours?”

“You mean my clothes?  They got wet when I fell into the stream.  They’re drying on a branch.  I wished they’d hurry up and dry.  I’m cold!”

“I guess so!  You don’t have much hair on your body.  That would keep you warm.  Hey!  What do they call you, the other humans?  I’m called Jocko!”

“My name is Ollie.  Good to meet you, Jocko!”

“Likewise, Ollie.  If you want, I’ll lay next to you and keep you warm.”

“That would be awesome, Jocko!  Thanks!”

I laid back down, and Jocko laid next to me.  I warmed up, and soon fell asleep.

When I awakened, it was light.  My clothes were lying next to me, and Jocko was gone.  I crawled from under the tree and peed behind a bush, then got dressed.

I looked around, hoping to see Jocko, but he seemed to have gone.  I started walking in the direction I thought would lead me back to the stream, but the further I walked, the more lost I became.

I saw a doe through the branches, so I stopped to take in the beauty.  I had heard that they are very skittish, so I stood as still as I could.  She came to about ten feet before me, and stopped.

“Are you the one called Ollie?” she asked?

“Yes” I said.  Wow!  Another talking animal!  I wonder just where I am!  “Do you know Jocko?  I was hoping he’d lead me back to the stream.”

“I do know him.  He asked me to bring you back to the stream, so you could find your way home.  My name is Daphne.”

“Hi, Daphne!  I’m so happy to meet you!  So, will you bring me back to the stream?  My Sir must be frantic, wondering where I am.”

“Of course, Ollie.  That’s why I’m here.  But first, chew on some of this mint.  I mean no offense, but your breath is horrible!”

“Sorry, Daphne.  I had no way of  cleaning my teeth.”  I chewed some of the mint she gave me, and my mouth felt much cleaner.  “Thanks so much, Daphne.  Hopefully, my breath is better now.”

“Much better, Ollie.  Let’s go.  We have a ways to go, and we want to get to the stream before dark.”

We started walking, and she was telling me all about the forest.  She said all the animals could talk, but many did not want to.  She also said that not all the animals were friendly.

After an hour or so, we stopped for a rest beside a waterfall.  Daphne said the water was safe to drink, so I drank some to slake my thirst.  She also pointed out some berries that were safe to eat, but cautioned me not to eat too many.

After resting for a bit, we continued walking.  I saw smoke rising from a cabin, and started walking towards it.

“Ollie, stop!”  Daphne exclaimed.  “Do not go near that cabin!”

“But why, Daphne?  Maybe they have some food.  Those berries were good, but I’m still hungry!”

*****

“There are very bad humans there, Ollie.  We’ve seen other humans go in there, and never come out again.  We hear them calling for help, screaming and crying.  Even the rats won’t go near it anymore.  The ones that escaped told us what they’d seen, and it wasn’t good.  You are very fortunate that you crossed where you did.  Now be very quiet, and follow me.”

We crept past the cabin, and when we were well past it, Daphne started running.  I could barely keep up!  It wasn’t long until we came to a bridge.

“Cross the bridge, Ollie, and you’ll be able to find your way.  Don’t try to come back, Ollie.  Once you’re on the other side, this place will disappear.”

“Thanks, Daphne.  It was really nice meeting you.  And Jocko, too.  Tell him I said goodbye.”

“I will, Ollie.  It was very nice meeting you, too!”

When I got to the other side I looked back, and, sure enough, the forest was gone.  I started walking, and soon saw my house.  I tried the door; it was locked, but my key wouldn’t work.  I knocked, but no one answered.

*********

Meanwhile, back in the bedroom.

“Sir!  Sir!  Where are you, Sir?”

Hahaha  “Stop!  Don’t do that!”  Hahaha

“Ollie!  Wake up Ollie!  Please wake up!  It’s Gus, Ollie.  Wherever you are, please wake up!”

But Ollie went into a deeper sleep.

*********

I looked around.  Everything looked the same, and yet somehow different.  I started walking again, and as I did, the landscape began changing.

There was sand everywhere.  I was sitting up high, and down below, I could see people moving around.  As I watched, a huge slab of stone went floating in the air, and settled beside another huge stone.

“Amazing, isn’t it?  How they move those stones into place”

That voice!  It sounded so familiar!  But I couldn’t see his face, as it was covered to keep the blowing sand from getting in his eyes.  He had on long robes, and when I looked down at myself, I was similarly attired.  He pulled back the hood of his robe, and smiled at me.  He had long black curly hair, and a beard, but I would know him, anywhere!

“Gus!  Oh, my God!  I’ve missed you so much!  Where are we?”  I pulled him close and hugged him tight.

“It’s Angus here, Oliver.  We are in Egypt.  Look!  The pyramids are just being built.  We must be very careful, Oliver.  Our kind are not accepted at this time and place.  Let’s go behind this mound, where we can’t be seen.”

“What are we doing in Egypt, Angus?  How did you find me?  I’ve been so lost!”

“Finding you wasn’t easy, Oliver.  You’ve been in a deep sleep.  Sir Pete and Sir are very worried about you.  I’ve been watching over you, and when you briefly surfaced, I tried to get you to fully awaken, but couldn’t do it.  When you briefly surfaced, and then went into a deeper sleep, I followed you.”

We laid down in the sand, and Gus began kissing me, and I, him.  He felt so good.  He kissed his way down my body, and took my nub in his mouth.  He sucked on me for a bit, then laid beside me again.

I pulled him on top of me, and I felt his nub settle between my legs.  I spread my legs apart, and guided him to my hole.  “Fuck me, Angus.  Become one with me.”

Afterward, we laid together.  It felt so good to be with him again.  I fell asleep, and when I woke up, I was alone.  I looked around, and knew I was no longer in Egypt.

I could hear singing.    What a beautiful sound!  There were people, but they looked different than people I was accustomed to seeing.  They were all tall and thin.  And no one was speaking, only singing.  A male walked up and started singing to me.  It was Sir!  I was so happy to see him!  I, in turn, sang back.

“Where are we?” I sang.

“We’re on a small planet within the constellation of Lyra, Ollie.” Sir sang back.

Just then, two small boys ran up, one with brown hair, and one with red.  They stood between us, and took our hands.

“What have you boys been up to?” I asked.

“Nothing much, daddy.  Just playing.”  the redhead said.

I looked at Sir and questioned, “Daddy?”

Sir nodded and smiled.  “Surrogate”  he sang.  “Look at him!  He looks just like you.”  And indeed, he did!

When I looked at the other boy, I noticed that he looked just like Sir.  “Same surrogate?”  I sang.  “No, boy, a different one.  The boys are the same age.  It’s what we wanted.”

There was a crowd gathering at the bottom of the hill, so we went and joined them.  There was need of more housing, so we sang them into being.

Someone pointed to the sky, and we saw battleships approaching.  We saw from the insignia,  that they were from Draco.  We all joined together, and started singing.  The singing got louder and louder, and when it reached its crescendo, the approaching ships shattered, and fell to the ground.  No one from the ships survived.

Life continued, but we noticed that the singing became discordant.  We were no longer in harmony with one another.  It wasn’t long until ships from Draco came once again.  We again started singing, but since we were no longer in harmony, the ships were able to overcome our little planet, and completely destroyed it.

*********

Back in the bedroom, Ollie is thrashing around on the bed.  “It burns!  Make it stop!  It hurts so much!”

“Wake up, Ollie.  Come back to us!  We really miss you.  We are so worried about you.”

But Ollie went back into a deep sleep.

*********

When I woke up, I was back on earth, or so I thought.  Everything looked the same, but it felt, I don’t know, different somehow.

I started walking and came to a sort of park.  I started to go in, but somehow knew not to.  So, I continued on, until I came to a street that was very familiar.  I started down the street and came to a house that I knew was where I lived.  Finally, I’m home!  I went to the door and pulled out my key, but decided to ring the bell.  A good thing I did, because someone I didn’t know answered.

“Ollie!”  he said.  “It’s about time you got back!  I was starting to worry.  Why didn’t you use your key, boy?  You didn’t lose it again, did you?”

“I’m sorry.  You seem to know me, but who are you?”

“I’m your Sir, Ollie.”

“No, you’re not!  You look nothing like my Sir.”

“Come in, boy.  It looks like I have some explaining to do.”

I went in the house, and he pointed to the cabinet.  I knew I was to take my clothes off and put them inside, so I did.  The first thing he noticed was that my nub was no longer behind bars.

“Who removed your cage, boy?”

“I don’t know, Sir.  It hasn’t been on for some time.”

“Maybe a spanking will help you remember, boy.”

“A spanking?  Why would a spanking help me remember?”

“Why, it just might jar your memory, boy.  Over my knees, Ollie.  No more talking.”

I crawled over his knee, then stood back up.  “No!  You said you had explaining to do.  Explain!”

“Okay boy.  You deserve an explanation.  Come with me.”

We walked over to a mirror and I looked in.  “That’s not me!”  I exclaimed.  “That person looks nothing like me.  Who are you trying to fool?  Now tell me.  Who are you, and how do you know my name?”  I demanded.

“Okay, boy.  Let’s sit down.”

“Not until I get dressed.  And I’m not your boy!”

I went and got my clothes and got dressed.  I went back in the room, and sat in a chair opposite him.  “Okay, whoever you are, start talking.”

“Like I said, Ollie, I am your Sir.   Don’t things look familiar to you?”

“Familiar, yes, but not the same.”

“That’s because you are on a parallel earth.  Things here look the same, and appear the same, but are slightly different.  On your earth, and in your time, you are sleeping.  A deep sleep that you don’t fully awaken from.  Your Sir on that earth,  and your boymate, Gus, and his Sir, Seth, have been trying for days to awaken you.  How you got here is a mystery to us.”

“Us?  Who’s us?”

Just then the door opened and someone called.  “Sir!  I’m home!”

“In the living room, boy.”

I could hear clothes being removed and another adult boy came into the room.

“Who is th...oh, hi Ollie.  Is Sir explaining things to you?”

“I just started.  Ollie, meet Ollie.”

We looked at each other and started laughing.

“How did this happen?  Do you know?”

“If I may continue,” said sir.

“Better yet, let me show you.”

We went to the wall and Sir waved his hand.  The wall disappeared, and I could see into another room, where I lay sleeping, with Gus sitting by the bed.

“Gus!  Gus!  Can you hear me?”

Gus looked up, then looked at me, lying there sleeping.

“I must be getting delirious.”  Gus said.  “I could have sworn I heard you calling my name.   Ollie!  Ollie wake up!  We are so worried about you.  Come on, Ollie!  Please wake up!”

“He’s been there the whole time, Ollie.  Two other men come into the room and relieve him, so he can take a break, but it’s mostly him.  He even lays beside you and gets some sleep.  He must be a good friend.”

“He’s the best!  I want to go home so bad!  However will I do that?  Every time I go to sleep, I wake up somewhere other than where I want to be.”

“I have no idea, Ollie.  Boy?  Do you have any ideas?”

“I do, Sir.  I don’t know if it will work, though it could be worth a try.  Um...Ollie, what’s your middle initial?”

“T.  My middle initial is T.  Why do you want to know?”

“It’s getting confusing calling you Ollie, even for me.    So we’ll refer to you as Ollie T.  Is that okay with you?”

“I’m good with that.  So...what’s your idea, Ollie?”

“When you called out to Gus, it seemed like he heard you.  What I’m thinking is having you call out to Gus again.  But this time, tell him to get those two men to call out to you, also.   Maybe their voices will lead you back where you belong.”

“It’s worth a shot.  What do you think, sir?”

“It’s not a bad idea, Ollie T.  However, that’s your decision.  It might work, and then again, you might end up somewhere else.  This seems to be the closest you’ve come.”

“It is!  This is the first time I’ve had an inkling of what’s going on.  I’ll give it a shot.”

Ollie T again called out to Gus:

“Gus!  If you can hear me, get Sir and sir Seth to come into the room.  Gus, what I want, is for all of you to keep calling me.  Maybe I’ll be able to find my way back.”

Gus looked up at me again, and shook his head.  “I could swear I heard you calling me again, Ollie.  Even though swearing will get me a spanking and corner time, I’ll do what you want.”

“Sir!  Sir Pete!”  Gus yells.  “Come into the room.”

When they get there, Gus says:  “I might be going crazy, Sir’s, but I think I’ve heard Ollie calling me.  He seems to think that if we all call out to him, he’ll be able to find his way back.  I know it sounds ridiculous, I mean, he’s right here sleeping!  But it could be worth a shot.”

They all commence calling out to Ollie to wake up, but he keeps sleeping, oblivious to them.

Back at the other place, Ollie looks on, then turns to the other Ollie and sir and asks:  “What now?  It appears that Gus heard me, but nothing is happening!”

“Sir?  Do you think if Ollie T goes to sleep, that will help?”

“It might, boy.  Ollie T, why don’t you lie down and go to sleep?”

“I don’t think I can, but I’ll try.”  Ollie said.

So, Ollie T lies down and closes his eyes.  It doesn’t take long for him to go into a deep sleep.

As sir and Ollie are watching, Ollie disappears.  “Where do you think he went, Sir?”

“I don’t know, boy.  And look, the window has vanished!  We can only hope he got back home.”

Back in his room, Ollie starts groaning and moving around on the bed.  Gus notices and calls out to him.

“Ollie!  Wake up!  Please wake up!  Sir and sir Pete are here.  We really want you to wake up.  Please, Ollie!  Please!”

“Sir!  Where are you, Sir?  I’m so lost, Sir.  I keep trying to come home, but I keep getting farther away.  I saw Gus, but that was long ago.”

“Ollie!  We are right here, boy!  Me, and sir Seth, and Gus; we are all here.  You just need to wakeup, boy!”

Ollie stops moving and talking, then slowly opens his eyes.  He sees his Sir, and starts to cry.

“Oh, Sir!” he blubbers.  “Where have you been?  I saw you on another planet, but then you were gone.  Am I home, Sir?  Am I really home?  The last place I was, I looked through the wall and saw Gus, but I couldn’t reach him.”

“You’re home, boy.  You never left.  We’ve been trying to wake you up.  But you’re really home, Ollie.”

The phone rang, and sir Seth went to answer it.  He came back, and said it was Mr. Lawson.

“I told him Ollie finally woke up.”  Sir Seth said.  “He said to call him and make an appointment for Ollie.”

Ollie was a bit weak.  He had been asleep for more than a week, after all.

Ollie told them of the places he’d been, and they all nodded their heads.  Let him have his tales of adventure.  They all knew that he was home in bed sleeping.

Or was he?
